My Bio
I'm a professional artist and costume maker. I've been into making art since I was a kid and some days my work still feels like I'm playing. I love making stuff! My original plan was to be an illustrator, but along the way I found making costumes worked better for me to make a living. I think it's great fun helping my customers turn into their dream creations! I still enjoy making illustrations when I get a chance. And I have a thing about making or painting masks. I'm a confirmed workaholic. My days "off" look almost exactly like my days "on" - the only change is that I might spend a bit more time on personal projects. ....and maybe an afternoon nap.
I love watching and sharing time with other artists. Whether they're photographers, sculptors, graphic designers, or even musicians I think that we all share a similar thread of creativity and passion. Deviant Art is such a great place to explore other peoples ideas and passions. I'm often inspired by the vast display of ideas and styles. Hopefully some of what I do might intrigue someone else as well. Either way, I think it's great when people share their creations. :)
My DeviantArt account is primarily for the kinds of projects I work on in my personal time. I have other websites for my professional projects. Once in a while I may upload a fursuit or other character, but primarily this account is home to my drawings, illustrations, masks, and other medias. I hope you'll enjoy what I do upload. Cycles of Inspiration

Lately I'm finding I spend more time studying and making artwork. My job is already very creative, but I increasingly feel like I could and should be doing more. I see so many brilliant artists out there and I feel a sense of respect and profound artistic hunger. I've recently been finding myself somewhat repelled by the many "pass-times" that our western society saturates us with; things that offer packaged entertainment or menial satisfaction but leave no lasting growth or accomplishment. As the river flows...

I haven't posted on Deviant Art for a long time. Today I felt like adding a couple of my more recent pieces. In reading over my previous journal entry it felt so old and dated. A lot of life has been flowing along since then. At this point I find myself in a much more positive frame of mind then I had back then. I'm doing a lot more visual art these days. Some of it I even like! lol I've come to appreciate and learn from a lot of other artists techniques and styles. Art is such a huge adventure. It feels like any opportunity to create is a chance to play!
